Today we went to Art with Mrs Young I was exicited because it was our second time. First we had to grab an apron and sit on the mat. Afterwards we started drawing. We had to draw a beach. I chose all the colours to paint my picture. The flowers were from a pohutakawa tree. It was funny when Leilani laughed out loud. Mrs Young didn't have enough black paint so she got it from the old classes and it looked like black jelly (ewwww!) No one thought it looked nice everybody thought it looked yuck! Itwas almost lunchtime and Mrs van Zyl came to choose and I thought in my mind I'm going to get chosen cause mine looks good, but she didn't pick mine she picked Dione and Luti's painting and I said in my mind "Awwww I spent all my time on it" and then I said "Look at my painting." and Mrs van Zyl said "Cool!" and then looked away.
My goal for this year is to try not to talk to the person next to me.

MY SUPER DAD!
Do you know who my favourite person in the world is? My Super Dad. He is the best Dad in the world. He reminds me of superman, but the only thing is... My Dad doesn’t have powers!
My Dad has faded black hair, dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has a goatee that is as straight as a vertical pole. This one time when we were going to the pools my Dad was shaving has goatee and it was shaped like an airplane.
He works at Victoria Park as a Site Traffic Management Supervisor, but for short STMS. They are building a tunnel that will start at Victoria Park. On Mondays and Wednsdays my Dad has to pick me up from rugby training. When he picks me up he says “How was training boy?”I reply “GOOD...”. On Saturdays he has to take me to my rugby games and work at the same time. When he’s at home the only thing he does is sleep on the couch and WATCH T.V! but the funniest thing that my dad does is... DANCE LIKE A CHICKEN!
My Dad is really funny, always happy and cheerful, 100% talented, He is intelligent and always caring and reliable. I know my Dad is proud of me because he says to me “Famaskalima!” or “Well Done Boy!”. My Dad is 37 years old and was born in 1973. He was born in Samoa, but he grew up in Tokoroa. My Dad’s village in Samoa is Nofoalii. When my Dad came from Samoa he didn’t know how to speak english properly. In 1990 my Dad was a Rugby Player. He played for Waikato. I love my Dad because he cares for me when I’m sick! Sometimes if my homework is hard my Dad helps me. When I was turning 8 he bought me Airforce 1 shoes.
My Dad and I like watching Rugby games and Rugby League games on T.V or sometimes we go to them LIVE. This year we’ve mostly been to Rugby League games at Mt Smart Stadium. We watched Vodafone Warriors v Cronulla Sharks and Vodafone Warriors vs South Sydney Rabbitohs. We even like the same teams. We both like the Queensland Maroons, the Vodafone Warriors and the Gold Coast Titans. Even though my Dad sounds old he is young to me and that is why I love my Dad and I would never want to replace him with another Dad because he is the best Dad in the WHOLE... WIDE... WORLD!
